Youth Never Fades, Striving Never Ceases—A Reflection on the 2018 Youth League Building Event

These events help cleanse the soul and relieve stress. 2018 was a year of rapid growth for our company. Under the wise leadership of our senior management, we achieved impressive results in the first half of the year—testament to the collective efforts of every Minhai employee. To further advance the implementation of our corporate culture strategy, enrich our employees’ cultural lives, and strengthen our team‑building initiatives, the company successfully organized, as scheduled in August, a team‑building event themed “Youth Never Fades, Striving Never Ends.”

Minhai Biotechnology participated in the inaugural Employee Games of China Pharmaceutical Valley.
On September 15, the inaugural Sports Meet of China Pharmaceutical Valley was successfully held at the Daxing South Campus of the Capital Normal University Affiliated Middle School. Attending the event were Fang Jian, Deputy District Mayor of Daxing District; Tian Dexiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Biopharmaceutical Base; members of the base’s leadership team; and representatives from more than 40 enterprises located within the park. Yuan Liping, Deputy General Manager of our company, was invited as a distinguished corporate guest to participate in the opening ceremony and related activities. Wang Xi, a basketball player from our Procurement and Warehousing Department, took to the stage to deliver the athletes’ oath on behalf of all participating companies across the park.

On the afternoon of September 13, the sixth annual “Ankang Cup” Workers’ Basketball Tournament for 2018 officially came to a close at the Daojing Sports Activity Center. The competition featured 13 teams from various units within the Biomedical Base, bringing together top basketball players who battled fiercely over 10 days in a total of 23 matches. The Minhai Biotechnology basketball team demonstrated unity, determination, and relentless effort throughout the tournament, ultimately securing an impressive third-place finish.

Recently, a delegation of 17 members—including leaders from the Beijing Intellectual Property Bureau and the Daxing District Intellectual Property Bureau, as well as a team of overseas intellectual property experts—visited our company for an inspection. Liu Jiankai, Executive Deputy General Manager of the company, led the reception and engaged in discussions with the group on the experiences and shortcomings related to intellectual property strategy and portfolio management. Dr. Toshikazu Ishioka, Partner at the Japanese firm Sonoda Kobayashi, along with Attorney Wang Yanhui, and Dr. Oliver Ladendorf, Partner at the German firm Kraus & Weisert, together with Attorney Ding Hang, each presented strategies and key considerations for patent filing in Japan and Europe.

On August 7, 2018, a delegation of twelve, including Dr. Ir. Penny Kusumastuti Lukito, Director General of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control of the Republic of Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as “Indonesia’s FDA”), along with Deputy Directors Dra. Reri Indriani, Dra. Rr Maya Gustina Andarini, Director of the Drug Registration Division Togi Junice Hutadjulu, and Director of the Cooperation Division Diana ES Sutikno, paid a visit to Beijing Minhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Company General Manager Zheng Haifa, Executive Deputy General Manager Liu Jiankai, and other company leaders extended a warm welcome to the Indonesian FDA delegation on behalf of Minhai Biotechnology.
