Kangtai Biological has been named to the 2018 Top 10 Chinese Biopharmaceutical Companies list.
On July 15, the “2018 China Top 100 Pharmaceutical Companies Series Rankings,” compiled by the Expert Committee of the China Top 100 Pharmaceutical Companies List, were released. Kangtai Biological ranked 7th on the “Top 20 Chinese Biopharmaceutical Enterprises (including blood products, vaccines, insulin, etc.)” list.

Recently, the Vaccine Administration Law was adopted at the 11th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People’s Congress. This marks the first dedicated legislation in China’s vaccine‑administration field, and the law will officially come into force on December 1, 2019.

On June 25, 2019, the signing ceremony for the design contract of Minhai Biotechnology’s international vaccine industrial base construction project was held in the company’s First Conference Room. The ceremony was chaired by Vice President Xiao Qiyou. Attending the event were Company Chairman Du Weimin, General Manager Zheng Haifa, Executive Vice President Liu Jiankai, and other senior leaders, along with Deputy General Manager Liu Zhongwen of the China Aviation Planning & Design Research Institute, Director Wei Shaohui of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Engineering Design under the Institute, and Deputy Director Zhang Wei, among other officials.
