Abstract
To comprehensively implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and to carry out the “Opinions on the Communist Youth League’s Participation in the Three-Year Action Plan to Win the Battle Against Poverty,” Xiao Qiyou, Deputy General Manager of Minhai Biotechnology, recently joined the Daxing District–Inner Mongolia Pairing Assistance Delegation to Xilin Gol League’s Sunite Right Banner to conduct poverty‑alleviation work. He conducted on-site surveys of enterprises and health centers receiving financial support from Daxing District, visited and offered condolences to impoverished households, and gained a thorough understanding of the actual conditions in the targeted areas. Based on this assessment, Minhai Biotechnology donated RMB 500,000 in poverty‑alleviation funds to the People’s Government of Sunite Right Banner and established working ties with relevant enterprises in Inner Mongolia.

On the morning of September 17, the launch ceremony for the Daxing District Consumption‑Driven Poverty Alleviation Month series of events was held at the district’s Consumption‑Driven Poverty Alleviation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Sub‑Center (Biopharmaceutical Base Branch). Xiao Qiyou, Deputy General Manager of Minhai Biotechnology, and Ma Hongjuan, Deputy Director of the General Office, attended the event and, on behalf of the company, signed a procurement agreement for poverty‑alleviation products on site.
2020 This year marks the decisive year in the battle against poverty. Consumption‑driven poverty alleviation is an important approach for all sectors of society to help impoverished populations escape poverty and increase their incomes. Our company has taken the lead by launching a program in our canteen to procure rice, flour, and cooking oil directly from designated poverty‑alleviation suppliers, thereby boosting the incomes of local impoverished residents. This initiative brings high‑quality, distinctive agricultural products to employees’ tables, embodying the principles of mutual benefit and win‑win cooperation. We hope that more enterprises will join in targeted poverty alleviation efforts, helping impoverished communities accelerate their progress toward poverty eradication and contributing to the region’s overall fight against poverty.
