Abstract

To promote the development of a multi-tiered workforce of skilled artisans across industries and enterprises, vigorously uphold the spirit of model workers, enhance employees’ professional qualities of dedication and responsibility, and strengthen the mechanisms for cultivating skilled talent as well as the cultural development of the industrial park, on May 15, the General Union of the Pharmaceutical Industrial Park convened an awards ceremony at the seventh meeting room of the Management Committee. Attendees included leaders from the Daxing District Federation of Trade Unions, senior officials of the Pharmaceutical Industrial Park, chairpersons of enterprise trade unions, enterprise executives, and award-winning union members.

　　At this conference, a total of five Park Craftsmen, six recipients of the Work Innovation Award, nine “Friends of Employees,” ten outstanding grassroots trade union organizations, and fourteen exemplary grassroots trade union workers were recognized. Among them, Liu Haiwen, Director of Vaccine Department No. 5 at our company, was awarded the title of Park Craftsman; Nie Xiaoqi, Deputy Director of the Production and Operations Center, and Zhang Jun, Director of Vaccine Department No. 2, received nominations for the Park Craftsman Award; Gu Meirong, Project Leader for the EV71 program at the R&D Center, was honored with the Work Innovation Award; Yuan Liping, Deputy General Manager, was named a “Friend of Employees”; Minhai Trade Union was recognized as an Outstanding Grassroots Trade Union Organization; and Ma Hongjuan, a member of the Trade Union Committee, was awarded the title of Exemplary Grassroots Trade Union Worker.

　　This initiative aims to enhance enterprises’ core competitiveness and employees’ innovative capabilities, vigorously promote the spirit of craftsmanship, and foster a professional ethos characterized by relentless pursuit of excellence. It seeks to comprehensively advance the development of a highly skilled workforce that is knowledge‑driven, skill‑oriented, and innovation‑focused, thereby providing robust talent support for industrial transformation and upgrading and for strengthening corporate competitiveness.

Recently, Beijing held a grand commendation conference for the “Two Excellences and One Pioneer” initiative in emerging sectors. The “Two New” Working Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee recognized outstanding Communist Party members, exemplary Party affairs workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations across the city’s emerging fields.
