Abstract
On the occasion of International Children’s Day, the Minhai Bio Trade Union, in order to translate its care for employees into concrete actions that support the next generation, presented a copy of the picture book “The Giving Tree” to the children of employees aged 2 to 12, along with heartfelt wishes and blessings from all company staff. The union extended warm holiday greetings, wishing the children a happy celebration and healthy growth, while encouraging them to study hard, understand the demands of their parents’ work, and be good children who bring their parents peace of mind.
Jim Trelease writes in The Read-Aloud Handbook: “You may have endless riches—boxes of jewels and cabinets of gold—but you will never be richer than I am, for I have a mother who reads to me.” Shared reading allows children and parents to enjoy the reading experience together in many different ways. Through this practice, family members can grow side by side, strengthen communication and interaction between parents and children, cultivate healthy reading habits in children, enrich the substance of family leisure time, and bring children joy, wisdom, hope, courage, enthusiasm, and confidence.
Children are the future of our nation and the hope of society. On Children’s Day, we present festive gifts to employees’ children, conveying our corporate values and expressing our heartfelt care for our staff.
