Abstract
Recently, Minhai, as one of the member companies of the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network (DCVMN), was invited to attend the 18th Annual Meeting of the DCVMN, held in Seoul, South Korea.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as more than 50 member companies of the alliance.
The main topics discussed during the conference included accelerating vaccine development for epidemic prevention, conceptualizing partnerships to strengthen the vaccine industry in developing countries, conducting joint reviews to enhance regulatory capacity in these countries, and promoting vaccine registration in developing nations as well as the research and development of new vaccines.
Through this conference, Minhai gained a deeper understanding of global emerging vaccine technologies and market trends, new international regulatory‑harmonization trends and requirements, and the progress of sIPV manufacturing projects worldwide. At the same time, the company engaged in exchanges and discussions with numerous international organizations and firms regarding its current product portfolio, new projects, and innovative products, thereby providing valuable and actionable insights to support the future WHO prequalification of Minhai’s vaccine offerings, ensure compliance with international quality standards, and advance the company’s global expansion.
