Kangtai Minhai’s partner has received a drug registration certificate issued by Indonesia’s National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), approving the marketing of a “dual‑carrier” 13‑valent pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine that is locally filled and packaged in Indonesia. This marks the first product of Kangtai Minhai to be approved for market launch following technology transfer overseas and local filling and packaging, representing a milestone in the company’s long‑standing internationalization strategy of integrating “bringing in” with “going out.” The 13‑valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine covers 13 common serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae that are highly pathogenic, thereby protecting children from pneumococcal‑related diseases.
