Abstract
On July 28, 2025, the first Biopharmaceutical Base Safety Production Competition concluded successfully. Relying on solid safety knowledge, expert operational skills, and outstanding team collaboration, Minhai Bio clinched the top prize in the highly competitive confined-space work event. This achievement underscores Minhai Bio’s exceptional management standards in workplace safety—particularly in high-risk operations—and its employees’ robust, real-world capabilities.
The inaugural Safety Production Competition was meticulously organized by the Management Committee of the Daxing District Biopharmaceutical Base, featuring four events—fire emergency response, hazard identification and elimination, confined-space operations, and electrical safety—aimed at comprehensively enhancing enterprises within the park’s awareness of workplace safety and their emergency response capabilities, thereby solidifying the foundation for safe development. Minhai Bio responded enthusiastically, promptly forming three competing teams that entered the contests in fire emergency response, hazard identification and elimination, and confined-space operations with great enthusiasm and robust technical skills.
In the fire‑emergency response exercise, team members demonstrated proficient equipment handling and swift, effective response; in the hazard‑identification task, they meticulously inspected potential risk points, showcasing keen professional insight; and in confined‑space operations, they rigorously followed safety procedures, promptly completing every step of the process—work permit approval, risk assessment, safety safeguards, compliant execution, and emergency response. Notably, during the simulated rescue scenario involving trapped personnel, the team reacted with remarkable speed, coordinated seamlessly, and executed tasks with precision, earning high praise from the judging panel.
This inaugural Safety Skills Competition was not merely a contest of technical expertise, but also a valuable opportunity for learning and professional growth.
