Abstract
On the afternoon of May 11, Hou Junshu, head of the research group of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, accompanied by Deng Naiping, a member of the Standing Committee and Chairman of the Social Development Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress; Zhang Juming, a member of the Standing Committee and Vice‑Chairman of the Social Development Committee; Wu Xiaojun, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau; Jin Weidong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Daxing District People’s Congress Standing Committee; Li Da, a member of the Party Leadership Group, Vice‑Director of the Daxing District People’s Congress Standing Committee, and Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions; and Zhou Chong, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy District Mayor of the Daxing District Government, paid a visit to Beijing Minhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Minhai Bio) to conduct a special supervisory inspection on “Establishing and improving systems to promote employment and safeguard workers’ rights, and refining mechanisms for consultation and coordination in labor relations.” Members of the research group, along with relevant officials from the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Administration of Public Services, and the Daxing District, also attended the inspection. Leaders of Minhai Bio, including Zheng Haifa, Wang Hui, and Wu Chengyu, joined the delegation to accompany the visit.
General Manager Zheng briefed the research team’s leaders on Minhai Biotechnology’s efforts in providing employment opportunities, offering skills training, delivering recruitment services, and fostering consultation and coordination in labor relations. He also accompanied the delegation on a tour of the company’s cell‑free pertussis (component) 5D bulk‑solution production workshop. Deputy Director Hou Junshu highly commended Minhai Biotechnology’s achievements, noting its rapid growth and significant contributions to regional development. He expressed the hope that the company will continue to intensify project implementation and construction, while sustaining its own swift and robust expansion, thereby making greater contributions to local economic and social progress. He further stated that the Municipal People’s Congress will persist in exploring employment‑security systems and improving mechanisms for coordinating labor relations, thus creating favorable conditions for enterprises’ leapfrog development.
