Abstract
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Party branch and the trade union of Minhai Biotechnology have fully fulfilled their responsibilities to serve employees and care for their families, helping staff carve out time for meaningful interactions with their children amidst their busy work schedules, thereby fostering family harmony and well-being. To this end, on May 29, 2021, the Minhai Biotechnology trade union organized a pottery‑making activity for Children’s Day, under the theme “Welcoming June 1st—Building a Bright Future Together.”
This event featured a specially invited professional docent who guided parents and children through the art of ceramics and showcased works from the Dongtao Kiln. Gradually, the children gained a preliminary understanding of the fascinating world of ceramics, with seeds of curiosity taking deep root in their hearts. With the assistance of the docent and their parents, the children enjoyed the delights of hands‑on pottery‑making, carefully designing and painting every intricate detail. One by one, their unique ceramic creations came to life, each piece infused with boundless creativity and breathing new vitality through the lens of childhood imagination. As they wandered among the dignified, imposing ceramic workshops, the children formed a “distinctive” scene, adding vibrancy and energy to this celebrated hub of ceramic culture. At the conclusion of the event, the Minhai Trade Union presented each child with a set of colored pencils and modeling clay, inviting them to paint their childhood in a kaleidoscope of colors.
As the sages have said, “Reading ten thousand books is not as good as traveling ten thousand miles.” Through this event, the children experienced the timeless beauty of ceramics and gained a deeper appreciation for the profound richness of Chinese culture. At the same time, it enriched their extracurricular activities, effectively enhancing their aesthetic sensibilities and hands-on skills, broadening their horizons, and allowing them to explore diverse natural and cultural environments. Employees of Minhai alike have enthusiastically praised the company’s thoughtful “Children’s Day” gift.
The “June 1st” Children’s Day parent–child event fostered a warm and harmonious corporate culture, showcasing the integration of family bonds while demonstrating Minhai Bio’s care for its employees and their children.
