GUANGZHOU, May 15 (Xinhua) — By reporters Ma Xiaocheng and Xu Hongyi: Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products Co., Ltd. announced on the 14th that its inactivated COVID‑19 vaccine has been approved for emergency use in China. The company has now initiated preparations for Phase III clinical trials of the vaccine. According to Kangtai Biological, this is the first COVID‑19 vaccine in Guangdong Province to receive emergency-use authorization.
