On December 10, 2019, the awarding ceremony of the first vaccine science base of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association was held in Shenzhen. The base was settled in the production base of Kangtai Biological Bright Area, the parent company of Minhai Biological.
At the awarding ceremony, Liang Xiaofeng, vice president and secretary general of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, read out the "Letter of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association on agreeing to Kangtai Biological Products Co., Ltd. as the vaccine popularization base of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association", and conferred "China The plaque of the Preventive Medicine Association Vaccine Science Base.
Liang Dongming, chairman of the Chinese Society of Preventive Medicine, and leaders and guests from the Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Guangdong Provincial Preventive Medicine Association, the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Shenzhen Preventive Medicine Association and other units witnessed the award ceremony.
Secretary-General Liang emphasized in his speech that on December 1, China's first "Vaccine Management Law" and the newly revised "Drug Management Law" were officially implemented. The "two laws" comprehensively implement the spirit of the "four most stringent" instructions for vaccines, reflecting the major reform of China's drug safety governance system and modernization of governance capabilities. It is hoped that Kangtai Biology and the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association will jointly build a platform for the popular science base for vaccines, give full play to the advantages of the popular science base, popularize scientific vaccine knowledge to the people, deepen the scientific knowledge of vaccines, and escort the healthy development of China's vaccination business.
