Abstract

On the afternoon of December 6, 2017, Li Jianguo, Vice Chairman of the Daxing District Science and Technology Association of Beijing, along with two other members of his delegation, arrived at the company for an inspection visit. Liu Jiankai, Executive Deputy General Manager of Minhai Biotechnology, Zhu Ruibo, Deputy Director of the R&D Center, and other company leaders extended a warm welcome to the Chairman of the Daxing District Science and Technology Association on behalf of Minhai.

　　Zhang Jingfei, Secretary-General of the Science and Technology Association of Beijing Minhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd., presented to the association’s leadership the company’s development journey and its achievements, providing a detailed overview of the work undertaken since the establishment of the Minhai Science and Technology Association, the results attained, and the plans for the future. Following the presentation, Vice Chairman Li expressed high appreciation for Minhai’s transformation from a small enterprise into a high-tech company that has successfully gone public, and commended the association’s efforts. Vice Chairman Li stated that, in response to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s call to build an innovative, science-and‑technology‑driven powerhouse and in fulfillment of the “four services”—serving scientific and technological professionals, driving innovation‑based development, enhancing the public’s scientific literacy, and supporting evidence‑based decision‑making by the Party and the government—the association will deepen its cooperation with Minhai, working together to make the company a model institution for the Daxing District Science and Technology Association.

　　Following the meeting, Deputy Director Zhu Ruibo and Secretary-General Zhang Jingfei accompanied Vice Chairman Li and his delegation on a tour of the company’s R&D center laboratory.

Recently, Beijing held a grand commendation conference for the “Two Excellences and One Pioneer” initiative in emerging sectors. The “Two New” Working Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee recognized outstanding Communist Party members, exemplary Party affairs workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations across the city’s emerging fields. The Party branch of Beijing Minhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was honored as an advanced primary-level Party organization in Beijing’s emerging sectors. Wu Chengyu, the branch secretary, attended the ceremony in person to receive the award.
