Abstract
From January 3 to 5, 2018, clients from Pakistan’s NIH visited Minhai for a three-day training session on the formulation of measles semi‑finished products. The company was represented by Executive Deputy General Manager Liu Jiankai, Packaging Department Director Hao Yanan, Head of the International Cooperation Department Zhang Qian, and staff from Vaccine Department I, including Zhang Heping and Wang Yao.

On the afternoon of January 3, Zhang Heping from Vaccine Unit One provided a detailed explanation of the solution‑preparation procedure. During the meeting, the Pakistani NIH client raised numerous questions regarding challenges they encountered during the preparation process, as well as queries about the precise quantification of solutions at each step and the specifications of the equipment and containers used. Zhang Heping addressed each of these concerns one by one.
Following the meeting, Minhai accompanied the trainees in escorting a Pakistani NIH client to the measles production workshop to observe the solution‑preparation process, enabling the client to gain a clearer understanding of the preparation procedures and the key precautions for each step. On the morning of January 4, to further familiarize the Pakistani NIH client with the lyophilization process, they visited the sub‑packaging lyophilization workshop to watch the lyophilization workflow.
During the three-day training, the NIH client from Pakistan observed the complete solution‑preparation process for the measles semi‑finished product and collected samples of the lyophilized batch. They also gained an understanding of the preparation of tetanus toxoid bulk solution, laying the groundwork for the NIH’s future procurement of tetanus toxoid bulk.
This visit by the NIH client from Pakistan has strengthened the friendship between Minhai and the Pakistani NIH client, laying a solid foundation for future international exchanges between the two companies.
