Abstract

At the invitation of Mahendra Suhardono, Sales Director of BioFarma, and Frenky Tan, Chairman of Wego, a delegation comprising Zheng Haifa, General Manager of Minhai Biotechnology; Miao Xiang, Secretary of the Board of Kangtai Biological; and Zhang Qian, Head of International Cooperation, paid a visit to Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia, from June 17 to 22, 2017.

　　At the invitation of Bio Farma’s Sales Director Mahendra Suhardono and Wego Chairman Frenky Tan, a delegation comprising Zheng Haifa, General Manager of Minhai Biotechnology; Miao Xiang, Secretary of the Board of Directors of Kintor Pharmaceutical; and Zhang Qian, Head of International Cooperation, paid a visit to Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia, from June 17 to 22, 2017.

　　During their visit to Jakarta, a delegation from Minhai Biotechnology held meetings and discussions with Counselor Wang Liping of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, Mr. Tambak Hudep, Vice Chairman of the Investment Planning Department of the Indonesian Investment and Trade Commission, Mr. Zhang Min, Branch Manager of the Bank of China’s Jakarta Branch, and Attorney Ke Jiancun of Hu Shenzhi Law Firm, among others, thereby deepening their understanding of Indonesia’s political and economic landscape, investment climate, and relevant laws and regulations.

　　During a visit to Bio Farma’s manufacturing facility, representatives from BioFarma, Wego, and Minhai exchanged views on the progress of pipeline products, the Indonesian vaccine market, and regulatory requirements, and held preliminary discussions on a potential collaboration.
