On the morning of March 12, 2026, Ai Li, Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress, led a delegation to the Daxing Biomedical Base. The group conducted an on-site visit and research at Beijing Minhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Minhai Bio), listened to the company’s development needs, and provided support for its high-quality growth. Good News | Minhai Bio Honored with the 2025 Beijing “Low-Carbon Leader” Title

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau officially released the list of “Beijing Low-Carbon Leaders” for 2025, which includes a total of six companies. Beijing Minhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Minhai Bio”) was successfully selected for this honor thanks to its outstanding achievements in green manufacturing and energy conservation and carbon reduction, becoming the only enterprise in Daxing District to receive this distinction this year. Kangtai Biological’s 60-microgram hepatitis B vaccine for “preventing viral rebound” has received clinical trial approval, offering a globally innovative strategy that could pave the way for functional cure of chronic hepatitis B.

Recently, the recombinant hepatitis B vaccine (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) (60 μg), developed by Kangtai Biological, received a “Notice of Approval for Clinical Trials” from the National Medical Products Administration, approving the initiation of a clinical trial to prevent HBsAg re‑positive conversion in individuals who have achieved functional (clinical) cure of chronic hepatitis B. The 60‑microgram hepatitis B vaccine, whose supplemental clinical application has now been approved, works by inducing high levels of anti‑HBs antibodies and establishing long‑lasting immune memory, thereby helping those who have cleared chronic HBsAg maintain a sustained state of functional cure—essentially preventing HBsAg re‑positive conversion.
