For this reason, they are classified as high-risk groups for hepatitis B. After receiving the hepatitis B vaccine, these individuals tend to have shorter-lasting antibody persistence and are more likely to lose immune memory. Therefore, once antibodies in their bodies have waned, they should promptly receive booster doses of the hepatitis B vaccine to prevent infection.
Which vaccine provides the strongest immune protection?
Once antibodies have waned, if you wish to receive another dose of the vaccine, you should go to a qualified vaccination site—such as your local Center for Disease Control and Prevention, community health service center, or township health clinic. Additionally, some provinces and cities have established vaccination clinics at certain local hospitals to administer specific vaccines.
What kind of vaccine should be administered to achieve a booster effect?
