Abstract

From April 25 to May 1, 2022, China observed the 20th National Public Awareness Week for the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases. This year’s theme was “Everything for Workers’ Health.” To further strengthen occupational health promotion within the company and effectively safeguard workers’ occupational health rights, the Safety Office organized an Occupational Health Awareness and Consultation Day at the entrance of the company canteen on April 29. 2022 Year 4 From April 25 to May 1, the nation observed the 20th National Public Awareness Week for the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases. This year’s theme was “Everything for Workers’ Health.” To further strengthen the company’s occupational health outreach efforts and effectively safeguard workers’ occupational health rights, the Safety Office organized an Occupational Health Awareness and Consultation Day at the entrance of the company canteen on April 29.

The event centered on promoting the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases, using banners, display boards, posters, and other materials to widely disseminate occupational health knowledge and foster a supportive atmosphere for the campaign. The event also featured personal protective equipment (PPE). Through practical demonstrations, on-site knowledge briefings, and hands-on experience with protective gear, employees received a detailed introduction to occupational health principles, as well as guidance on the proper selection and correct use of personal protective equipment. In addition, questions regarding occupational hygiene and PPE that employees were concerned about were thoroughly addressed, enabling them to effectively acquire occupational health knowledge and enhance their awareness and skills in this area.

Occupational health work is vital to employees’ physical well-being and safety. Through this awareness campaign, the principal responsibility for occupational health has been further strengthened, occupational health knowledge has been widely disseminated, and workers’ awareness of self-protection has been enhanced.
