Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine Project
Partner: The Netherlands’ INTRAVACC collaborative project on a human diploid cell–based rabies vaccine. Cooperation model: technology transfer, with support from the Major New Drug Development Program. Significance of the collaboration: to provide Chinese citizens with a safe and effective inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV), to achieve localized production of IPV, and to facilitate its inclusion in the national immunization program; at the same time, to enable the international market supply of IPV through the WHO.

The 17th National “Work Safety Month” arrived as scheduled in June, with this year’s theme being “Prioritizing Life, Pursuing Safe Development.” To thoroughly publicize and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on work safety and effectively enhance all employees’ safety awareness and knowledge, the Minhai Bio Safety Committee organized a series of thematic activities throughout June, including large-scale safety training sessions, emergency response drills, special campaigns for identifying and addressing potential hazards, and safety‑related film screenings.
